June
๐ญ My Thoughts ๐ญ
Alright ya'll, Welcome to JUNE!
June 1st starts off with two payments: Aflac Inc. (AFL) with $1.57 and Visa (V) with $0.49. That's a total of $2.06 which is most definitely not a bad start to the month whatsoever.
So it's June 12th today and I've noticed a stark resemblance between December 2020 and this current month so far. The schedule of payouts are very very similar. To be honest they are almost identical. I guess it's to be expected though knowing how most of the companies I have invested in pay out on a quaterly basis. I just thought it was super cool seeing it happen in real time. What a sour spoiler though lol
June 16th and the portfolio finally accumulated enough dividends (with the help of the Organon & Co. (OGN) sell ofcourse lol) to be able to buy more shares of stocks in the portfolio. Big congrats to the portfolio for that! Slow growth is still growth nonetheless.
As June ends, I have to say... It's been a very good month. This month breaks March 2021's all time high of $24.81 worth of dividends in a single month. So far, we've made in total $30.41 in dividends. Chevron Corp. (CVX) had the highest dividend this month coming in at $2.69. Probably the best news to come out recently is that big banks are increasing their dividends by quite a bit. Honestly, it's very nice to hear that I'm getting a nice hefty pay raise. The last pay raise I got at my 9 to 5, was probably like around almost 2 years ago but hey, it is what it is right? That job has blessed me enough to give me the opportunity to be able to invest in this dividend way of life and I'm grateful for that.
